On that date, Gail Devers set the IAAF world record for the 100m run; the record still stands today.Joining the family of Black History Month-themed footwear by Nike is an all-black Air Force 1 Low that celebrates the brand's unifying message of Equality. Just like the Air Jordan 1 Retro High that was revealed earlier, this Air Force 1 "Equality" features the inspirational motto on the heel portion of the leather-wrapped midsole. Additionally, Nike adds a commemorative graphic on the underfoot, while the date of Martin Luther King Jr.'s iconic "I Have A Dream" speech is embroidered on inner face of the tongues. Expect an official release on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which falls on January 15th.
For the sixth year in a row, the NBA continues to broaden its global horizons by playing a regular season game in London. This time around, Kyrie Irving's Celtics did battle with Joel Embiid and Ben Simmon's 76ers inside the O2 Arena in the UK. Of course, Irving took the new stage as as opportunity to debut a brand new pair nike prime hype df of Kyrie 4 PE's dressed in navy and yellow. Dover Street Market's streak of sleek and simplistic sneaker collaborations with Nike continues as a first look at their upcoming Air Max 1 collaboration surfaces. Seen here is a minimal treatment of the '87 runner featuring a tonal black upper, the shop's signature logo on the right heel, and opaque outsoles that reveal oversized Swoosh logos on the footbed. In addition to this black colorway, two other versions in White and Brave Blue are set to release sometime this year. In typical Nike fashion, the brand is ready to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a bang, and it is all starting with the upcoming "Just Do It" Pack.Charles Barkley's Nike Air Force 180 made a surprise returns late last year in some surprisingly stylish colorways. While we cherish the original Olympic and black/red/blue looks, the more lifestyle-focused olive and khaki versions suggested an off-the-court look that shed new light on this early 1990s classic. Now, Nike is delivering the shoes in clean tonal black upper with speckled white midsoles for yet another impressive option for fans of Barkley to get their hands on. Expect a release on Nike and select retailers in February.
There's already a gold and silver, so it makes total sense to round out the metallic trio and release a bronze colorway of the Nike Air Max 97. That's coming much sooner than expected because this "Metallic Red Bronze" colorway of last year's prominent Air Max retro is set to drop on January nike air max 90 ultra 11th overseas. It features a metallic finish of the darker reddish hue and a tan/brown upper nylon, while the black interior, consistent with the "Silver Bullet" and "Metallic Gold", to finish off the look.
